My vet had me take my sick Great Dane to VCA, to get a blood transfusion. She collapsed getting her out of the car. I waited close to three hours before the doctor came to see me, because she was doing all sorts of tests that had mostly already been done. She said that to give her a blood transfusion I would have to admit her and that she would be there at least three days - cost around $10,000.

Insisted that the vet I go to, Western University of Veterinary Medicine had closed down. I had spoken to them that day. She was aggressive, pushy, unsmiling and unsympathetic. Charged $1300. I took my dog home. They told me they were going to carry her to the car but instead made her walk very unsteadily. They are just one more of these big veterinary companies, who are just in it to get as much money out of you as they can, when you are at your most defenseless. I feel defiled. Disgusting. My dog died later that night.

Desired outcome: Shut the place down
