Vanico Maronyx is deceiving consumers. They are selling bathroom products that do not resist
water damage. Yet when I called, wrote and sent pictures they said that I should have wiped the tub better and
used silicone to protect the wood. Both of which I did. I was assured that these products would resist water damage bacause of the wood thatthey used. One year later the tub podium was extremely damaged and 2 years later the tub and vanity are ready for the garbage dump. My dream bathroom has turned into a nightmare. Their response, they blamed me! The products they sell are
for the bathroom and they should not get too wet! That is absurd. Their VP of Sales, Marie-Jose Parise did offer me the opportunity to purchase another tub at cost. Wow, what a solution, buy more products from us. I would never purchase
another faulty product or recommend a badly manufactured product to anyone. I made the mistake once
and it cost me a lot of money. Their products are not cheap. Beware, they look nice but are not made for a bathroom. If this was just one product that was faulty they should have replaced it without sending a document basically
reiterating how they are legally covered because I supposedly did not wipe off
the water enough. Again, this is not true. Their products are poorly manufactured and they do not stand
behind them. Shame on You VANICO Maronyx!
Yup I learned the hard way...never gonna buy that brand again!
One year later had to change entire bathroom tub.
Hope my experience has helped others to make better decisions and NOT purchase VANICO MARONYX products.
Oh vanico products are extremely expensive and junk ! i was fortunate in a sense ... I purchased my avanti bath vanity, tall matching linen closet and matching tall medicine cabinet back 10 yrs ago ? when home depot expo was around ! there was a special order that had been returned and was in their clearance area they were having one of those 40% off yellow tag sales off clearance prices + an additional 25% off for thanksgiving special. It was a unbelievable deal ! I saw it in back there was 1 small mirror missing, big deal ~ I'll get the mirror cut.
There happened to be a mfg rep there at the store that day ~ the order had already been rung up and we were getting ready to pay. She happened to hear from a few desks down that we were inquiring about this company and their quality, etc. She flipped ! you cannot sell at that price, it cannot be sold at 85% off ~~ lol !
too late ~~ deal done ~~ bought and paid for !
she was absolutely furious, went to the store mgr, wanted him to refuse the purchase, she tried blocking us from putting the pieces in my suv ! what a piece of work this woman !
thankfully, i bought this crap at the price i did bc its been nothing but trouble. The "high-quality" materials are a joke. They do not use real wood but pressed wood. The stripping that covers the edges had started coming off within the 1st year. The polymer vanity top scratches setting anything on it. You must wipe all water off of it asap or it will stain it. I hv no clue why a company would ever use such soft, horrible materials for a bathroom in the 1st place then charge thousands of $$$ for it knowing they will not ever last past the 1st year !
i just called to get a polymer vanity top repair kit. I was told it had to be sent to the store i order thru. I said that was impossible as the store was out of business. Oh well then. It will cost you more $$ ! $20 for the kit and $15 for shipping. They 1st price i was quoted was $30 and $15 for shipping. It is a 1 use kit only and is not reusable ! I'm told since the top is so old it will never match color .. I told her it obviously didn't match when they 1st repaired when the repaired either when it was brand new ! there were lots and lots of repair marks why on a brand new unit right out of the box ?
do not waste your $$ looks beautiful but you will be extremely dissapointed !
