I received something in the mail stating I had unclaimed offers with a value of $500.00 "good at walmart, target, and more" along with a claim number and a 1-877 number. When I called I was asked to give them the "claim number" and when I did they confirmed my name.. they then said all I had to do to receive the $500 gift card was pay a "shipping" fee in the amount of $3.95. They then asked for my card number and I stated I wasn't comfortable giving that information over the phone.. The lady tried assuring me that my card would only be charged one time for the $3.95 and then I'd receive my gift card. Haha ya, sounds the same as every other scammer! Thank God I didn't fall for it - feel bad for anyone who they have successfully scammed.
