Value City Furniture & Pure Promise Warranty review: 2 pc manual felix set (loveseat & sofa) + coffee table & nest sectional

Do not buy your furniture here... They do not stand behind their products & have a partnership with a scam warranty company! In 2021, I ordered two different sets of furniture from value city furniture with a combined price tag of $5913.97. This included all of their fees, as well as the pure promise warranty for the furniture. The felix sofa/loveseat combo was delivered first at the end of summer and then the nest sectional was delivered in the fall of 2021. By christmas, the nest's material-weddington cement (which I was assured was "durable" material), showed signs of wear (the material was "rolling", not pilling little balls). I reported that, along with the defect in the reclining sofa (the arm rest portion was tilted away from the sofa). When the technician came out, he dismissed my concern about the recliner saying nothing was wrong with the sofa & ignored my concern about the material of the nest. In august of 2022, the recliner broke (same end I had already identified a problem with). At this point due to elapsed time, I had to deal with pure promise warranty where I submitted a claim for both sets. The denied my claim for the nest saying it was "normal wear & tear"... On what planet does material show wear within 3 months... None, especially "durable" material! For my recliner, they sent a technician who said it could be fixed & he would get the parts ordered. One week later, I received an email that they would not fix recliner due to cost of repair and offered me cash or replacement. The cash offer was $458 for a living room set that set me back >$2200, so I chose replacement. When I go to the store for replacement, I am told that this set was discontinued, so there was not a sofa available to match my loveseat! The warranty company would not replace the set (only the broken piece), despite the fact that is how it was purchased... As a set, so my option for the >$2200 set I bought is to have mismatched furniture like I went to a flea market to purchase odd pieces and I am stuck with poor quality materials for the >$3600 nest!
