A check was sent to Vacassa in May to rent a house on Seneca Lake in NY state at The Showboat Motel for the August 13th wedding of my daughter. As of July 5, 2022, I received a letter from Vacassa stating that they no longer supplying a service of rentals for the Showboat & I would have to call them directly to reserve the house to rent for the weekend. I started calling Vacassa for reimbursement of my $1,254.74, because they have had my money since May 2022. I have called Vacassa on 7/20, 8/4, 8/17 & 8/22 again after they claimed a check would be issued July 13th. First, they said it would be 4 weeks and then 6 weeks. It will be 6 weeks tomorrow from when they claim it was being issued, This has caused me so much stress. I have had to borrow the money ($1,254.74) to pay the Showboat for the renting of the house that I rented on August 12th & 13th.
