Panera Bread - false advertising

I have reason to believe that this local Panera Bread is false advertising its You Pick 2 deal. I have always been charged for 1 signature item here, even after requesting no signature items. After confronting the manager, the manager stated that they only charge the price of 1-signature item, regardless of whether you select one. If that is the case, they should remove the $6.45 price on their wall menu for no signature items.

I'm sorry you've had that experience. That is certainly not company policy, and it hasn't been that way for either of the Panera Bread stores in which I have worked, or any that I've eaten at elsewhere. You should email corporate, and I'm sure they'll do something to help you. Panera Bread as a whole is very focused on customer service- stores are supposed to remake anything you're not pleased with, offer up some sort of reimbursement- either a free pastry, a giftcard, a free sandwich or UP2 on your next visit, or even your money back. They are not within corporate bounds, clearly, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal for them to do that. I do not know what that store's problem is, but you should definitely report them to corporate.
