Krispy Kreme - Disappointing filled doughnuts

I have loved Krispy Kreme doughnuts since the 1950's when my dad would take us to the store located on Ballentine Boulevard in Norfolk, VA to buy a dozen hot glazed doughnuts at 60 cents per dozen.
