On November 11th my wife took her car in for an oil change. When it came time to pay, the attendant told my wife there was an issue with her oil plug and it need to be worked on. My wife informed me of the issue and I ordered her a new oil pan and not to drive it unless absolutely necessary and then only if she knew the car had oil in it. Later that day she drove the car to an auto parts store for oil and on the way home the motor seized. I had my mechanic come out to my house to check the car and he found there was no oil plug. Brake Check claims the oil pan had been struck by something which damaged the pans drain hole, but upon inspection no visible damage was found to the pan or drain hole.
Desired outcome: Replace car or engine.
