AmeriSave charged my CC $545 for an appraisal that took over 2 weeks to receive. After Closing Discloser was sent and e-signed they changed the appraisal fee to $900 and did not credit my prepayment of $545 (which would make my total charge for the Appraisal $1445). I never agreed to additional charges for the Appraisal and said I would not sign this document. This was the new Closing Disclosure that they wanted me to e-sign. My originator called and said that the $900 charge was dropped and my $545 would be credited and new Closing Disclosure papers posted on my AmeriSave account. That never happened and I get an email from the Sr. Loan Processor asking me to sign the same Closing Disclosure that has the $900 appraisal charge. As of today 5/16/22 I have not received any call back or other from AmeriSave and have waisted over a month on this loan that never happened because of AmeriSave trying to add fee's for their benefit.
Desired outcome: I would be ok with the original Appraisal fee of $545 that I did pay for the Appraisal without any other changes.
