National Automotive Parts Association / NAPA Auto Parts - I was refused a part that I called ahead of time about.

I needed an auto part called a blower motor connector on 03/25/2022. I visited an O'reillys Auto Parts on this day and they did not have in store location 34th Street and Quaker in Lubbock, Tx. I was told none of the O'reillys locations had the part only the main warehouse had it. It was about 7 miles out and I did not want to go that far so I called Auto Zone and none of their stores had the part either. I made one more call to Napa Auto Parts on 50th and Quaker Lubbock, TX and Mike answered and put me on hold to look it up he came back on the phone and confirmed he had a blower motor connector for a 03 GMC Yukon and said it was 54.99 I told him I was on my way to get it. I showed up at exactly 5 pm CST less than 10 min later. I walked in and a white man was sitting on a stool behind the counter he asked me can I help you and I said yes are you the person I just spoke with named Mike about the blower motor connector he said no, let me get him. He walks back out with an older white man and I said I am here to pick up the blower motor connector you looked up for me. He asked me again what vehicle, I said the 03 Gmc Yukon it was just a few minutes ago I called. He stared at the computer and the other man sat down on the stool. He just kept typing something and staring at the computer and then he said its gonna be a problem and I said what's the problem he said you told me a Sierra and I laughed and said no I didn't I told you a GMC Yukon and you repeated it to me and that part is for my vehicle that I've had 12 years so I wouldn't make that mistake. He sat there just staring at the computer not saying anything and acting as though he was looking it up still. I said Mike you found it in less than 3 min when I called why is it that its now been 10 min with you looking it up. He said that the computer was complicated and I said is it the computer or is it you and the other white man sat there in the chair not offering to help. Then I said I've been standing 10 min in here and I believe it's you and that when I walked in you didn't realize a black person was coming to pick up and now you are stalling so that I become impatient or frustrated and leave. The other white man groaned or made some sound in Mikes defense. I said Yes that's exactly what the problem is because you didn't even have to go to the back to get him you could have just looked it up but you didn't because you are discriminating and you don't want to sell me the part. Mike was still just staring at the computer now 15 min go by and a couple walks in and and they are helped right away and leave meanwhile, Mike is just staring at the computer rubbing his chin. Now another customer walks in, a white man and props on the stool and the unbusy white man starts helping him not bother to see what the confusion is with Mike. I said It's obvious that you don't want to sell me the part because I am black the other customers are not black and that's why you helped them quickly right. Then the unbusy white man yelled out "yea throw that out there" I said well obviously It's what it is. I go to my car to get my mobile phone came back in and Mike is still looking at the computer and the white customer is being helped. I place a call to the other Napa Auto parts location while looking at Mike staring at the computer. Stacy answered and said yes I have the blower motor connector over at my 50th and Quaker location. I said oh you have it at 50th and Quaker that's exactly what Mike told me too over the phone and I've been standing in here now about 17 min with him not wanting to be helpful or the other guy in here. Then the other guy yells out whilst he is helping his customer, I'm the manager that's who this guy is, I said oh he says that he's the manger and then Stacy says wait oh I thought you said a connector for the heater controls I actually don't have the connector for the blower motor. I said ok, I see you guys are discriminatory in who you will sell to and Stacy yells we aren't going to put up with that and I thought that statement was in my defense but it wasn't and he told me I could leave the store now and hung up the phone. I thought, wow they are in cahoots about discriminating, unbelievable. I took a pic of both of them I was in that store nearly 25 minutes and did not get the part I came for because of racial discrimination. This is unfair treatment and out right discriminatory. There is no reason that in 2022 you have those that will choose to practice unlawful discrimination on consumers and it must be stopped. Mike, Stacy at the 19th St location in Lubbock Texas and the guy that exclaimed he was the manager, which was even more harmful because he should have better training on diversity and inclusion and how to not open your company to liability.

Desired outcome: These guys are a liability to your company they should be terminated for the organized efforts to discriminate on a customer.
