On March 1, 2024, I went to the new location of APL Longview TX. The vaccine clinic is open 10-2. I got there at 10:00. I gave a little info that I use the Seresto collar for my cat since my cat had a reaction to the topical flea meds. The receptionist said it's fine. The manager said no we will not service your cat. We have a policy on any reactions by animals. It doesn't matter. It is their policy. I said you are asking me to go to a vet. I will spend hundreds of dollars on my cat at the vet. All I need is her shots. They turned me away. It is understandable that they don't want animals to die inside their clinic. However, they don't have any vets to hire. They claim the animals get spayed/neutered by vets. So if they wanted to then they could pull a vet from the surgery. They refused to see my cat. It's insulting. I take full responsibility for my cat and any reactions. She has never had reactions to vaccines in the last 5 years of her life. The barking dogs were a bigger problem than my cat. Also the urine all over the floor from a dog.
Desired outcome: I want vaccines for my cat. I will be going to a vet.
