I purchased new glasses with progressive lenses in October. The staff was unwilling to help me and suggested I should choose the glasses on my own, even though the store was empty. That likely resulted in me selecting the wrong type of frame and/or material for my needs. Upon picking up the new glasses, no training or fitting were provided to me. Again, the staff seemed apathetic. As a first time progressive wearer, I had tremendous difficulties seeing and went back to my optometrist. Over the next several months, I ended up making 4 trips to the doctor and still couldn't see well. I went back to LensCrafters to ask them to remake or refund the lenses, which they refused because of their 30-days return policy. Once again, the staff was rude about the whole situation and uninterested in helping or providing at least some guidance. After all of this struggle, I ended up having the glasses redone, with the exact same prescription, at a university hospital, and at my own expenses. I can now see perfectly well. In conclusion, there is no doubt that LensCrafters sold me a defective product. The staff, at least at their uptown Dallas location, is also clearly incompetent.
