On July 12th at 720pm I visited the KFC on Emanuel church rd in Lexington SC. When I pulled in through the drive through I was told there is a 25 minute wait because they were cooking more chicken. I told them no problem.
I went on to tell them that this was getting to be a regular thing with them running out of food. That is when a woman in the background came over the speaker and said if I didn't like it I could just go somewhere else and eat. Well when they told me that I went inside the resturant and questioned who it was that said that. That is when the clerk told me it was the manager on duty. When I questioned the manager about this, she looked at me and just shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't have time to deal with me her paperwork was more important than me ordering my food. And if I didn't like it I could go eat elsewhere.. her name was Jennifer..
What she didn't know was I had a order in my pocket from my church for almost 500.00 worth of food..
This is no way to treat a long time customer.
Desired outcome: I would like for a district Manager to contact me about this.. This women needs to be retrained on dealing with customers
It's about 1pm. I go up to the drive thru. There is no sign that the place is closed , besides the empty parking lot and a few employee cars. I'm very tired and hungry. I look at the menu, but when not greeted by anyone after about a minute I decide it's not worth the effort. I've had incidents at certain KFC's before where they just do not care. They mess up orders a lot, they act like it is a problem to make chicken which is ironic considering it's a chicken establishment. I haven't had KFC for a long time because of this attitude - I was reminded today.
So I go to Long John Silvers instead and, funnily enough, they are busy. The employees are prompt and polite.
It makes sense why that KFC was deserted. I won't be back unless things change.
