Supercuts - Devastating haircut

On November 20, 2022; I entered a super cuts located on Loucks Road in York, PA. I was meet by Elisa. She was a nice lady, asked me what I was looking to have done. I advised I needed a trim because my hair was getting too long, and my original hair lady was out of town. She seemed to have listened to what I requested and then I proceed to show her pictures of ME in my phone and what my hair should look like after the trim. I even used the pictures posted inside the super cut location. She swore she was able to complete my requested style and that she has been cutting hair for over 15 years. I trusted Elisa with my hair. Hair is one of the first things people see when meeting you and start their assessment/judgment on you as a person. I work in a professional setting and deal with clients daily. Not even 10 minutes into my hair cut and my husband questions what made me go shorter this time. At that moment, I looked in the mirror and saw that Elisa pretty much chopped everything I wanted to keep right OFF. It's all uneven and not layered. It looks like I let my niece or nephew take scissors and just cut my hair. Then when she realized she messed up she proceeds to tell me I need to do some kind of treatment in my hair in order to cut my hair the way I wanted it. Now I am being blamed for her lack of ability to do her job. Not one person that has seen it has not laughed or given me a look as if my hair is horrible. This is unacceptable. It took me years to get over my depression of having short hair and finally after such a long struggle I was able to embrace it with the style I felt comfortable IN and in less than 10 minutes Elisa destroyed all of that and retriggered my extreme depression. I have now called out of work for the entire week in hopes it will grow out some. It's the holiday week into the weekend, and I do not want to take pictures with family looking the way I do. This is and was the worst experience of my life. My normal hairdresser has advised she would need to go even shorter to try and fix this mess of a so-called haircut. Your motto shouldn't be about running a business, it should be about people being able to actually cut hair. Especially when it is laid out to them on how to proceed with the cut. Since I have to be out of work all week due to your employee Elisa destroying my hair, I will be missing out on over $800 paycheck. I will be contacting an attorney for possible steps to take for reimbursement for this experience. I am sure some type of accommodation can be provided for this ridiculous and horrible outcome I have to deal with daily. I have to buy hats now and I hate wearing hats. I will NEVER recommend your company to anyone.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for having to miss a weeks' worth of work. Re-train Elisa and make sure she knows how to listen to what her customers ask for and to stop thinking her OCD makes her a perfect hairstylist.
