I was in line to checkout. I man in front of me was checking out. A man behind me goes toward the counter to pick an item up he then proceeds to cut in line. I informed him that I was ahead of him. The person who original was in front of me said that he was with him. I said ok. The person who jumped the line proceeds to pay for his merchandise.
The problem was with the staff. The manager came out if the office irate and annoyed and processed to tell me to calm dawn and to let it go. She said there was no need to raise my voice. She did not help the situation at all. The managers name is Jen. She is clearly not management material. The women that was waiting on me did not know how to deal with the situation. Her manager was not supportive nor was she helpful. After the men left she went back into the office.
I have been a costumer of Giant Eagle for decades I have never seen this type of behavior before.
