I hope this message finds you well. My name is Andre Owens, and I visited your store (3415 Simpson Ferry Rd. Camp Hill PA), today around 7 pm with the intention of purchasing some stock paper for a project I'm working on. While browsing through the aisles, I came across the stock paper section and noticed the particular type I needed, priced at what I believed to be a great deal, at $0.79 per piece.
Thinking this was an excellent price, I proceeded to pick up nine pieces. However, upon reaching the register to pay for my items, I was surprised to see that the price rang up as $1.99 per piece. Perplexed by this inconsistency, I approached a staff member to address the issue. Together, we returned to the aisle where I had found the stock paper, and I showed her the location. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we were unable to resolve the pricing discrepancy as the staff member indicated that there was nothing that could be done.
Feeling unresolved, I requested to speak with a manager. Upon their arrival, I reiterated the situation and showed them the location within the aisle where I had found the stock paper. The manager suggested that the placement of the items may have been incorrect, possibly by another customer, and that this could have led to the confusion regarding the price.
However, during our exchange, I felt increasingly distressed as it seemed the manager was insinuating that I had purposely placed the items in the wrong location to exploit a lower price. This assumption was deeply troubling to me, particularly as a loyal and frequent customer who regularly patronizes your store.
While I understand that pricing discrepancies can occur, and I am willing to pay the listed price if that is indeed the case, I found the manager's implication both unjust and upsetting. As a result, I am left reconsidering my loyalty to your store and contemplating taking my business elsewhere.
I sincerely hope that this issue can be addressed and resolved in a manner that upholds fairness and respect for all customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
