Hi, my name is Margie (Marjorie). I was terminated on Friday, September 15 due to a customer complaint with her child. Which the incident happened weeks prior to my termination. I have never got an oral or written warning. Have been excellent employee love working with the store manager and the other employees. Ever the customer joy coming to the store because of the friendly atmosphere we have. Could not tell you the date the incident happened all I know is the child was misbehaving with our pig used for the attention for us to come to the front of the store. The mother told the child to stop squeezing the pig three times. He went to the other pig an continue to squeeze that pig. I went over an ask him for the pig and his age, we keep a chair up front for anyone to use (we have a lot of elderly that come in) I told him, he has eight-minute time out the mother did not say a word. When I was done ringing them up, I ask the child to apologize to his mother for misbehaving, he did. I thank the child, shook his hand and thank the mother too.
