DHL Express - A misrepresentation of the service, in re: failing to complete and order from Eurosend

The problem started with my wanting to send a package to the EU [Netherlands] through Eurosender, who was using DHL as their courier. I had filled out the paperwork, as well as paid for this via PayPal.

After doing so, I was told that DHL would come by my apartment building to pick up the box. I was under the impression that their driver would have a copy of the waybill/customs form/international clearance papers. He did not have that and rec that I reschedule the pick up. HOWEVER, I called DHL to find a local drop off point, that could print out said same paperwork. They rec a business called NW Postal and Storage, located at 3055 NW Yeon, Portland, OR [protected]. I dropped that box off there last Friday...10/15/21, under the impression that if I gave them the waybill and tracking number, they would be able to find the paperwork, print that out and it would be on it's way. What followed after was a series of misleading and dishonest calls over the past 4 days, on the part of DHL.

They lied about what their rep told me about the drop off point, as well as about saying that they could not find the package, even though I told them where it was and they had all the data that was needed. DHL also sent over a poorly constructed address form, which could not be completed, due to their rep improperly coding it, for a pick up in the Netherlands, as opposed to here in the US.

What showed how callous a level of regard they had for this circumstance, is that a US based supervisor said [SIC] 'even though we made mistakes with regard to where to drop off the box and the paperwork, it is still YOUR FAULT that this happened'. I kid you not... that is what I was told.

I emailed Eurosender about this and told them that DHL did not do anything to resolve this issue and to send the package. The fact that I have spend $280 on this and was nowhere close to having it arrive for my associate, has also added to my health problems [I do not see my self running bet different shipping locations, especially seeing I am on dialysis 3 days a week, with little transport otherwise].

As for a resolution to this, the best possible resolution is for DHL to own up to this, to pick up said box with the paperwork in question and delivering same to my associate, in Leewarden, Netherlands. This should not be that hard to do, unless they wish to continue to be dishonest in the process.

Desired outcome: That the package in question is delivered to the Netherlands.....That is the desired outcome, sometime within the next 7 days.
