The pharmacy at the harrison store in shawnee ok is absolutley the worst, I have ever experienced! I will not be using this pharmacy any longer. I have used this pharmacy for years and I am transferring my entire familys to cvs. The pharmacy clerk, kristen, was so rude and kept sighing as she was helping me. A prescription was 277.00 and some change so I asked about a discount card. She said well it was over 300.00 and my insurance paid some (like I should be thankful) she said that was only my responsibility to find one, so I did and she was so rude saying I cant use that one and now theres a car behind you so... I said well im not paying that and I would see what I could come up with. I went home and downloaded a savings card. I drove back up there and waited in the very long line again and this time she was so annoyed and sighing that I asked her if there was a problem. She just said hang on... Finally she came back and said... You said you didnt want it so I voided it!
I said I never once said that and she said well I did, so you are going to have to have your dr call in a new one. Never once even tried to apoligize or try to help in any other way! I am very angry and upset about this. I will no longer use walgreens. I have a family member that uses cvs and they actually try to help to decrease the cost. Not walgreens

Obviously this lady was very rude, and there is no excuse for that. As for the discount cards, you are 100% correct that we are not supposed to make it easy or cheaper. Obvously we shouldnt be rude about it but I literally complaine every year on my annual review that Walgreens absolutely does NOT care about making medicine affordable. A few years ago we had more leeway to mention and help customers find copay cards and other ways to make their meds cheaper. Starting about 2 years ago we implemented policy to remove all discount cards and to not help customers with copay cards. They push it as it making us "liable".
