7am on November 19, 2023, in the cafeteria of the 1001 N Pennsylvania Ave. Oklahoma City, OK. 73107 location residents of the shelter were called to breakfast. I was the first in line and grabbed my tray, when I got to the table I poured my milk over my cereal and took a bite. The smell and taste of rotten milk was overpowering. When I took the milk up to the cafeteria lady, she said she wouldn't give us anymore milk. All she had served us was the milk and cereal, No other sides. I saved the rotten milk carton as proof. We got nothing else to eat.
The shelter recently provided the entire family side of the shelter with brand new, matching colored shower curtains and bed linens/spreads, as well as shelving, wardrobes, and other storage furniture. I don't think edible food is too much to ask for.
Claimed loss: Essential meal to start the day
Desired outcome: I would like a meal replacement for the entire residential building.
