I entered the location to make a payment on Sat., Sept. 22. I was informed that a final payment was due to close out the cycle of payments; however, I was not given proper notice that this was to be a final payment due to change in Checksmart terms...Needless to say I was disturbed by this news as I was not prepared to make this final installment. I asked the attendant to summons a manager to confirm this information, but instead, another associate approached the window talking fast and telling me I was told of the new terms. When I protested that I was not informed, this attendant named "Gabby" got very argumentative with me insisting that I was told and threatened to put me off the premises for raising my voice. I have quite frankly been a loyal customer longer than I've wanted to be, but have not ever missed payments or been treated as disrespectfully as I was on the 22nd. A faithful customer of over 5 years should not be made to feel humiliation as this associate did...after all, customers like me are the reason she has a job. Please address this situation with the severity it deserves. Upon settling my final payments, I am done with Checksmart.
