I was a victim on online fraud (cash app fraud) with my Well Fargo debit card. When I called customer service, first I was told that nothing could be done, because the charges "were authorized" through the card. I called Wells Fargo fraud number who took down my fraud claim, but it was over 10 transactions resulting in over $4, 000. Instead of temporarily crediting my account like Chase bank did while they investigate, I have to wait up to 10 business days for them to complete their investigation to even get a response. I have called in twice already and was given the same response. Also I was told that I could check the status of my fraud claim on my online bank account and I can't, I have to call in.
