Home Depot - delivery

We ordered a large refrigerator/ freezer with free home delivery. We followed all instructions. Cleared kitchen, measured door and had a plumber set up waterline. Shoveled walkway of all snow. Two delivery people, Scott and Troy in a budget rent a truck. Scott was very rude and belligerent. The walkway has a part that is 32 inches wide and the unit needs to be raised two feet to clear. He measured the door said it was fine. He was not happy with the plumbers work which the plumber said he does all the time and it was ready. He angrily then said the refrigerator weighs 900 lbs and they could not lift it over that narrow area. My wife and I tried to explain we have a refrigerator and a sleep sofa that came in that way. He then said he wanted me to sign a paper saying we were refusing the item. I told him we were not refusing the item he was refusing to deliver it. He stormed out to his truck. Then Troy came in and he was very nervous and trying to calm things down. I went out to the truck to try to reason with Scott. When I saw the item and him moving it I said "that ways 900lbs" and he said it's at least 600. I said well if it's that heavy you should brought more than two people. Especially is you are delivering it in a rural wooded area in Vermont in the winter. My wife feared Scott was going to physically react to us. We finally had them put it in our garage. I then asked if they worked for Home Depot. No they are their own company. I asked what their name was and Scott said I did not need to know that. I then signed the paper . They left and did not leave the hook up kit that Home Depot recommends, that we purchased. After they left I looked up the weight and found on your site it is 260lbs. I called "Family Movers" in North Springfield Vt. Two guys came over within 1 hr and moved the unit into the house. We could not hook it up without it leaking because Scott did not leave the hook up kit. My wife said he probably took it to spite us. The two "family movers"took the old fridge down the same path the new fridge went up. The ne your movers would not bring it up. We are long time buyers of appliances from Home Depot. Including washing and dryer units. My wife is redoing the entire kitchen. Having free delivery is a benefit. We had to pay $200 for "Family Movers" to bail us out and our three coolers of food. Knowing there is a chance that that mover Scott may come back means our stove, cabinets, exhaust fans etc. will not be coming from Home Depot. The picture is of the form we signed to release the refrigerator.

Home Depot - home depot 30 year roof warranty

Roof installed in 2010. I have an active roof leak and the sheathing that Home Depot insisted that I pay to have them install is warping, bending and curling up causing shingles to rip off the roof. I have made and documented several phone calls, employee numbers, etc at the Home Depot Services division who keeps telling me different stories and not living up to their commitments and warranty.
