Homes are not properly checked for plumbing, and interior finish from the factory before transportation to job site.!
* First, POOR hanging of doors, especially exterior doors to units.
Had to adjust, readjust, re-hang and then have the factory come out and re-hang all the doors to get them to properly close.
* Had to make several calls to finally get service.
* Champion sent the contractor up to adjust doors, and the contractor drove in from Texas, without the proper tools! WOW!
* Poor Crafsmanship on Plumbing: Toilets not seated correctly: They Leaked. We had to fix them prior to renting the units.
* Bad fittings on the pex water supply lines: water leaks in the units from the first day we connected them.
* Main Sewer line installed Backwards: Reverse flow: Toilets and sinks backed up!
What a Nightmare!
Bad finish on interior molding.
Staples through the interior television cables causing no reception and delays in getting cable tv service.
BASD BAPRODUCTION CHECKS AND BALANCES.
BUY FROM ANOTHER MANUFACTURER.
WE ARE; WE WERE GOING TO PURCHASE UP TO 100 UNITS. THE FIRST 6 CHANGED OUR MINDS.:
I just purchased a 2002 Redman Fountain home I would not recommend this company the craftsmanship is poor the drywall has many cosmetic defects throughout the house. I am painting the bathroom and wanted to remove the mirror unfortunately that is not possible the mirror is glued to the wall. These are just a few items, avoid this company.
