Bath & Body Works Direct - Lost website orders

Since 3pm yesterday I've placed 3 BBW orders. The 1st 2 orders were placed on the website. I received a "we received your order" email with an order #. After 5 hours I still hadn't received the essential confirmation email (which is the one that means they REALLY have your order, the 1st email is a joke) so I chatted with a CSR who, of course, could not find the order. So, I placed an exact duplicate web order & the same thing happened. After waiting more than 24hrs from the 1st order I called & an associate put the order in for me. Same thing, the useless "we received your order" email but no actual confirmation email & at this point I doubt I'll ever get one for any of the 3 orders which means they don't exist & will never be processed and shipped. But, I now have 3 pending charges from BBW on my credit card which is annoying because it's tied up my funds even though I know they will eventually drop off if the orders never become "real" in the BBW system. I've literally wasted a good 4-5 hours chatting & being on the phone with multiple CSRs over the past 2 days just trying to place an order that will actually get processed in their system. Most of the people at BBW I've spoken with seem to know there is a problem with the system & they call these "ghost" orders. I already knew about "ghost" orders & the all important 2nd confirmation email because I had an order lost this way about a month ago. I've been ordering pretty regularly from BBW but I think I've had about enough of this crap at this point. BBW, this is simple, you know your order system is messed up, you've known it's messed up for some time now so you need to just fix it or get out of the online order business if you can't handle it.

Desired outcome: Fix your order system so that an order is good the first time it's placed. Love your products but there are only so many hoops I'm willing to jump through for them.

Since November of 2022 I have had 17 ghost orders. All lost money, no items, constantly lost coupons and rewards and missed out on sales. Accissoiates had no clue how to help and the second I’d ask for supervisor they hung up, SIX TIMES. How unprofessional ! The rich man always wins I guess, they don’t care about their customers clearly
