My husband and I filed our taxes, we've used jackson hewitt several times in the past and this time we were charged 666.95 for one single w2 and three kids. I will not use jackson hewitt ever again. That would explain why 4 days later we found out we werent getting the advance on our taxes... After we were told we were getting up to 500$ and that it would be on our card after an hour or so. Im so frustrated, we're barely treading water as it is, and tax time is our saving grace most times, we want what is due, I didnt think it would be over 200$ to do the taxes.. But 600 almost 700.. Is ridiculous especially when the gov is already soaking us for most of what we make, this is the worst tax year ever for sure, im so angry.
Desired outcome: i would deeply appreciate and legitimate explanation, not tax slang, myself and my husband and our 3 kids would appreciate and refund..of at least 500$ it shouldnt cost more than a weeks paycheck to file our taxes correctly.
