Dollar General

Last night I bought a loaf of Sunbeam 'thin' sandwich bread at the blue mtn store. When I opened it moments ago, it is very dry and crusty with a stale odor. When I looked at the date, it expired on March 19 2019, twelve days ago. How is it possible that it has not been pulled off shelf by the vendor or store personnel in that time period. That is disgusting, I can only imagine what the sweeter foods that expire quickly could be. This happened to my son at the same location just a couple months ago and now me. Customers should not have to worry about the safety of the food they buy from you nor throwing hard earned money down the drain
