Zips Car Wash - Did not clean vehicle. All the brushes weren't working

On Sunday, February 19, at approximately 11:30 am, I paid $10 for a car wash at 9430 Page Ave, St. Louis. There was an employee at the kiosk and I told him I wanted a $10 wash. He took my credit card, put it in the kiosk, pushed some buttons, and gave me my card back. I was not issued a receipt. As I went thru, I noticed most of the brushes were not turning. After I exited the car wash, I noticed the vehicle was very dirty.

I spoke to 2 employees who informed me that the car wash was not properly working, and to contact Corporate Office. I informed them that I paid $10, and was from Michigan and heading back Monday. They said they couldn't do anything about it.

Desired outcome: Refund $10 back to my credit card

Zips Car Wash - Car wash cause a scratched on rear bumper

On 3/3/2022 I went to Zips car wash on 9430 Page Ave, St. Louis MO 63132.

Before I have arrived to Zips I took a look around my car to make sure there were no other dents or scratched I didn't know about.

Once I've done that and was in line to go into the car wash I proceeded inside, and halfway through the end of the wash I felt something was off. At the begining of the car wash, I felt the brushes they used to scrub the sides of my car were too abrasive that you can hear it making an harsh sound. Secondly, the car in front of me, and the car behind me felt like they were unusually too close for comfort. Also, the conveyor belt felt a little off as I was close to exiting the car wash.

All this made me want to check my car afterwards for any damage that could of came from the car wash. I did a look around my car and noticed a scratch on my rear bumper that was not there before I entered the car wash. The scratch was so deep that it peeled off the paint coat, and it had track marks on it from some sort of equipment.

I then proceeded to go inside the facility to file an incident report with a Zips employee.

The employee followed protocol, and filed an incident report with my information as well as pictures of my car showing the scratch that he would show to his manager. He told me that his manager should be in touch with me within 1 - 3 days after reviewing footage they got while I was in the car wash.

At few hours later, I get a call from Dale the manager of Zips stating that unfortunately they will not be covering any damages as he saw in the footage claiming that the scratch was inconsistent with them, and they apologize. Dale didn't seem to care nor offer anymore help. I am for sure this scratch I got came from them as looking at the pictures it has a what I call "track pattern" on it.

Desired outcome: Pay for auto body paint repair, and offer to see footage of when my car was in the car wash.

Zips Car Wash - Damaged vehicle and customer service

On 06/12/2021 I was at the 9430 Page location in Overland, MO. at about 2:13 pm and my car was damaged due to the employee error and the machine, causing my vehicle to bump into the vehicle that was in front of me. I reported the incident and showed two young men the damage to my hood and grill and other parts to my 2020 Dodge 1500 Horn pickup truck. They both said that the young lady that guided my car in had just started three days ago and did not know very much, in a joking way. They then stated they were sorry for the damage caused and they would get issue resolved. The manager seems to not treat matter as an urgent matter. He came out about 10 minutes later and said total opposite of what the other staff members said. He tried to tell me damages were new, but he did not see how they caused them. Really? I called police and made a report. Officer said it was determined it was a car wash fault and that this was the second incident she had made a report for in the last two days. I also made called customer service and was on hold 30 mins. The young lady that answered phoned was rude and hung up on me. This has been the worse experience and I want my vehicle fixed. The staff for this company is horrible and very unprofessional. They do not care about customer satisfaction. My email is [protected]@gmail.com
