Menards

I ordered $2500.00 of siding and accessories on Thursday May 25th. They assured me it was all in stock. I returned today Saturday May 27th to find out they didn't have it. I had to borrow the neighbors trailer to bring it home. I live in Prudenville Michigan which is about a 50 minute drive there and back. Now I have made 2 trips for nothing. My time and gas is not free, I complained to the store Manager which he overheard me complaint about the product wasn't there so he came over and asked me again what is the problem and I repeated again what happened. He told me it was in stock in Saginaw, Mi which is 2 hours away and I said is that your solution to my problem that was this stores fault and he asked me is that all, and then just walked away from me. I have shopped Menards since it first opened and I have never seen a store managed like that one. He could of had it shipped to his store from Saginaw to try an make up for all my trouble which was their fault or maybe a $50.00 gift card. But nothing from him. I usually shop menards on a weekly bases. I have submitted several rebates, it's been 8 weeks and have not received any of them. The tracker isn't showing them either. This sale continues to run every week yet no rebates are being returned. Started to feel like it's a scam to take advantage of people at a time that is already hard for everyone. Guess it's time to stop going there and shop at Home Depot. Atleast they aren't drawing people in on false intentions.
