I am a type II diabetic and a loyal Walgreen customer until today.
I take 1000 MG Metformin tablets 2x to control my A1C for decades.
Over the years I have found I can only take one manufacture without getting extremely ill.
The company is Heritage and the tablets say GG and H 104 (oval white). Although my Rx flagged often Walgreens in Port Allen would fill with the wrong Metformin. Then they would apologize order the right meds and fill my Rx. Last week the same situation happened and they told me it would be ordered from Heritage or the wharehouse. Today I was told that medication is no longer available. I do not believe this at all. Heritage still makes this Metformi! Walgreens in Port Allen, La. does not want to provide customer service or would rather me be in a hospital. I am not happy!
Have them order my meds and fill the right Metformin!
