Dollar General

Hi, I was working on Airline Highway and talked to the store manager about going back to work after Erica the store manager had called me in on my off day. She put me on cashiering then wanted me to work the floor rotainers while she was on the phone in the office and when I told her I needed help, she flashed on me, so I told her I came in to help her. She said if you leave then you will be fired. I gave her, her keys and l left because she wasn't even trying to help in any kind of way. I was under the impression by Jennifer on west metairie Erice couldn't do that because she was wrong. So why today after talking to the store manager who wanted to hire me due to being very short on employees, I was told I couldn't be rehired. I really do not feel that was a fair decision.
