I was fired on 07/24/13 for no reason...At 9a.m. a customer called and I answered the phone and the customer asked for an extension on her already late payment. I extended her payment and documented it in the computer, then I asked the customer if she would like to refinance her loan and be able to skip her payment this month and get $296. The customer told me no that she would be out of work for a few months and not be able to pay her payments and she really wanted to pay her loan off. I told her okay and got off the phone with her. My boss (Linda Woods) was sitting behind me listening to my conversation with the customer and asked me what the conversation was about . I told her that the customer wanted an extension and I offered for her to re-finance and she declined the offer. Linda told me I did not try hard enough to get the customer to re-finance. I explained to Linda that the customer will be out of work for a few months and unable to pay on her loan and she wanted to pay it off. Linda started raising her voice and told me I was not doing my job right and I needed to ask the customer 3 times before getting off the phone. Linda was very rude and stern with me while telling me this which caused me to start crying and I told her I could not handle her continuously picking on me every day in front of customers and being rude. She then told me to clock out and go home for the day. When I proceeded to get my belongings and clock out, she then told me that if I leave it was all on me. I told her I was doing what she asked me to just do. When I got home Linda had the other employee leave a message on my answering machine telling me to turn my office keys in. I called the office and asked to speak to Linda and the employee told me she was on a conference call and she would have Linda call me back. 30 minutes later Linda calls me back and I asked her why she wanted me to turn my keys in and that I was confused if she was terminating me or just wanted me to go home for the day. Linda told me she in fact was terminating me. I said ok that's fine and hung up.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
