Valvoline Instant Oil Change [VIOC]

Had the oil changed on my 2022 Honda CRV, with less than 15k miles, on 10/31.

153 miles later, engine is ruined, according to Honda dealership. Their diagnosis is that something has clogged the oil feed up inside the engine, and starved the engine of oil.
Cost to replace is over $12K, plus rental car.
I wasn't upset it happened. Mistakes happen.
I tried to give Valvoline the opportunity to make this right. I filed a claim, and finally spoke to 2 of their managers, and still, they are not willing to admit their fault.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out something was done wrong. But to disclaim any responsibility?
They want the filter to examine at their lab.
Why... so they can again claim zero responsibility? Honda dealership says its not in the filter, its up in the engine!
I have been forced to consider hiring an attorney.
Shady business practice.
