flooring department in Ormond Beach is HORRIBLE went to order carpet gave the room size 27x15 which is 405 SF carpet was 33 cents SF & installation was 49 cents SF total being 82 cents SF and the padding was $99.99 per roll needed 2 rolls so the total should have been roughly $332.10 + 199.98 for a total of $532.08 plus tax. Had to pay $35 to have their guy come out & measure no problem he measured and we needed 580 SF to include closets so I did the math $.82 x 480 SF totals $383.60 plus padding of $199.98 for total of $593.58..plus tax. Go to Lowes to order and pay and the Associate tallies everything up gives me a total of OVER TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS I said to the Associate Tony IMPOSSIBLE to which he starts this line about Ma'am you do not understand LINEAR FOOT and we do our costs measurements that way. I am thinking SF is SF period and he assured me he would speak with Mgr Jennifer on Monday and call me Tuesday. Yea we know how that goes so I called asking for Melissa on Monday she was in a meeting and would return my call yea that never happened either so called on Tuesday again in a meeting but assured me she said she will will call me after the meeting. Never happened Oh and Tony never called on Tuesday either. Waited until Thursday since I had not heard from Tony or Melissa this time I was asked who is calling gave my name and oh Melissa is with a customer so fed up I called back asking for a General Manager got an Assistant Manager named Scott gave him the complaint he took my # said he would get back with me which did not happen either though several hours later I did get a call from Shawn nice guy trying to resolve the problem which basically means to me Melissa did not have enough courage to make the call and threw Shawn under the bus for her dirty work. Several hours after that call I get a call from Tony apologizing for the error not offering to give my $35 bucks back had to ask for that was told he would handle putting it back on my card OK. Called me back to assure me the credit went back on my card and he would email confirmation of that yea that never happened either. Buyer beware of their calculations for flooring.
