Ulta Beauty - Customer experience

So I went and had my hair done last night at Ulta. I looked at my receipt and saw I paid for a full highlight. I'm like wait I don't think she highlighted my hair. I still see the same red pieces I thought would come out in the highlight. This is the 2nd time she had highlighted it and I was expecting it to be the parts she hadn't highlighted last time to be done this time. I realized she just did a root touch-up. And on top of that it's lighter than the highlights. So I go up there to see if they can do anything. The service manager hears me out and says I can give you a refund. I said well if I can get it fixed I would rather that over the refund. She can't get me into a senior stylist until Thursday and I was like is there anyone else bc I can't due to work. So she gets a master stylist. The master was like may I look at your hair? I said yes. She goes all over my head and saying I see the highlights I said no those are the old ones. She only did the root touch up you can tell bc there isn't any fresh highlights. Then she goes maybe she didn't do the highlight bc your ends are dry. Still pulling on my head and trying to put my hair in my face for me to see what she says is too dry. I'm start shaking bc she is trying to convince me my hair is too dry. I said can you quit touching me. She looks at the other girl with her mouth hanging open like I did something wrong to her! I said you know what forget it I will take the refund. I was so embarrassed! I really liked that stylist too. Guess that's what I get. I won't be spending any more money there. It sucks. I'm like trying to spend money and I can't. So LAME! I can't believe that was my option. Get my money back? On top of it she charged me for the highlight and it was a root touch up. Like a 45 dollar difference. So no more for me. I can't afford any more hair color mistakes. They are too expensive. Sucks! I really liked that stylist! And my hair kinda looks bad. Feel like crap! 😑

The service was actually performed a few days before this review. It says last night but was about 2 days earlier.
