L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

This incident occurred at the location at 6731 Westminster Blvd., suite 108, Westminster, California 92683. [protected]. July 6th, 2023 at 8:46 PM is the time I picked up the order I called in at 8:17 PM. This has to be the worst plate of food I have ordered from L & L in my lifetime - and maybe from any place that offers to-go food. The chicken katsu plate I ordered looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for multiple hours. There was barely any chicken in it - maybe 1/4 inch thick in all of the pieces. The breading surrounded mostly fat on almost all of the pieces, and some pieces were completely burned. When I open my container, it smelled like sour milk, and against my better judgment, I tasted the macaroni salad. I had to spit it out right away because it tasted like it had also been sitting out for hours and had turned bad. The teriyaki sauce was a liquid the consistency of water, and nothing like the sauce that it is supposed to be, or what i'm used to it being. I ordered the same item at a location in Irvine, California just 3 months ago and it was fantastic, so I don't know what went wrong at this location. I tried calling the restaurant at 9:10PM, so they were technically closed at 9:00PM, and no one answered the phone. There was a message that stated that their voicemail box was full.
