On March 26, 2021, Friday I ordered dinner from Outback Steakhouse via phone. We set up the order to be picked up curbside. Due to the pandemic my family and I have picked up food from various restaurants and I was really disappointed in this visit. We were on our way home, actually almost home, and we received a phone call from Outback and was told they didn't put in our sides. I live at least 10-15 miles from the restaurant and was not happy after this phone call. We initially spoke to Tristin when we placed our order, and she was the same server who called us about their mistake. She didn't seem remorseful, her focus was on whether we ate any of the food order we were given. She proceeded to tell us she would need to take that food order when they replaced our complete order at our request. We weren't even home yet! Frustrated we had to turn around and return to the restaurant to get our corrected order. We spoke to the manager, Gizelle and she was uncaring, definitely not a problem solver, and also asked if we had eaten any of the wrong order. Unbelievable! While speaking to the manager we had to ask about some sort of compensation since we were offered nothing. The only resolution over the phone was to trek back to the restaurant with the previous order in tow and the smell of food we couldn't eat, and retrieve the new order. We are on a special diet and only eat at certain times of the day. We were starving by this time. We
pulled up to the restaurant and called in from the curbside pickup, waiting way too long for our new order. Tristin finally comes out with the new order and proceeds to give a speech, including the statement "I am only human." Bye Tristan, unbelievable. They allowed us to keep the old, could order. I guess that was my comp. I am disappointed and not happy with the fact that I spent my hard earned money for a meal that should have met my satisfaction, not the case.
