Safeway

Today, 6/7/23, I called the 877 # for Safeways Rewards Program. I was unable to cash out my rewards points at the store and was told they could help me. I called and they said I’d somehow gotten 2 accts. However, they could combine them into one acct. Great! I said yes and they did indeed combine them. So I got off the phone with them and open the now only one acct…and surprise the 9 rewards I had are not on this acct. only 1 from the second of the two accts. Ok, so I call fhe 877 # again. Can they please add them back to my acct. as the previous fellow said they’d both be combined (equaling a total of 10). Oh, sorry no we can’t w/o proof. Do I have any? Snort! What?! Do. I. Have. Any. Proof? Are they kidding? Nope. They can’t help me then. Sorry! You’re out all your rewards. Too bad!
