I have been trying for months to access my account after I upgraded my phone. Uphold is a company that enables individuals and businesses to invest, exchange, spend and transfer currencies (national & digital), commodities, equities, and more globally. This app holds my crypto stock that I invested in, and I have only used my phone to access this account. The password I had written down was incorrect, so I tried to have it reset however there was a two-factor notification that I did not add to my account and has now restricted me to get in. With multiple emails going back and forth, I still cannot get in. One email asked for a W9, which has my social security number, a picture of my license, I obliged photo'd uploaded and sent. They are now telling me that they do not have it. I am infuriated that I have been going back and forth for months now. I have requested them to call me, nothing! I now am in fear that I am going to be suffering from identity theft. I do not know what to do, please help!
Uphold is holding funds after I shared that my bank claim was closed . They’re giving me the run around first saying I should have gotten a refund, then saying the claim was still open after I sent proof from my bank in September that it was closed. Now they’re saying it’s closed but will take 90 days to issue refund. Claim number is 3262084
