We were overcharged by $4000 for a boundary survery. Mark Reese of Universal Technical lied to us about the amount of work that was required by the state of Pa. and the Health Dept. of Bucks County. He tried to charge us almost $10000 to survey our property. I have a chronological account of all the attempts we made to have him justify his charges or send us a usable survey, but he never did.

We have also been contacted by another woman in our township. She told us that he charged her $15000 and never completed the work, nor is he licensed by the state to do surveying or engineering services.

I have found a history of complaints from banks and businesses that have also dealt with Mark Reese, Chuck Reese, Darla Reese, Melissa Reese, Jim Davies, and the other company they own CGM contractors.

Just an update: Universal Technical a.k.a. UTEK, CGM, AccuGrade. Address Cherry Rd, Quakertown. They have changed their business name to some other letters on the sign, too.
I just don't remember what they are.

Gregg Reese should also be included in this list of deceitful business partners. The other company letters are ACG for AccuGrade. Do not sign a contract with this company. The will tell you anything to get you to sign. Look for all the red flags in the print. Read very carefully. Anything you don't think you wouldn't agree with, trust your instincts and do not hire them no matter what they say.

We too have been overcharged by UTEK. And are still waiting to receive a retainer from 2 years ago!

A Warning to all who use or have used the services of Mark Reese at Universal Technical (UTEK). Mr. Reese does not stand by his word or work. He is a liar! He overcharges for land surveys and septic permits. We paid $13, 000 for a land survey and septic permit. In comparison to other engineering forms, we were overcharged at least $6,000 for the work required by the state and local Dept. of Health. Our attempts to discuss the overpayment with Mr. Reese were futile because Mr. Reese does not return phones calls and hides behind his office manager. His standard m.o., "I have been so busy,"...not what the client wants to hear, Mr. Reese! Please file complaints with the Better Business Bureau.

Mark Reese - Corporate scandelous wanna be with miscelaneous phoney baloney professional titles.
Corporate Policy and Game Plan: Screw customers and change business name until extremely wealthy
Professional Objective: Rule the world
Eventual Reality: Working in a sweatshop in a corporate hell with the Rothschilds and Rockefellers of the world.

I have worked with UTEK/Mark S. Reese for over the 8 years and have found him honest, hard working and innovative. He strives to keep the clients objectives at the forefront. His surveying talents and engineering knowledge come from a family history of engineers and surveyors. He was a surveyor, engineering technician in the U.S. Naval Corps of Engineers and has worked on some very challenging and interesting projects domestically and internationally. I have checked his references, education and previous clients only to find a positive summation.

I believe the negative entries are obviously one-sided, and attempts to hurt a person or company in a malicious way.

Hello to all,
I'd like to take this time to comment on the last post on this blog. I highly suspect the last positive statement was either posted by Mark himself, his second or third wife and possibly his mother. CGM Contractors where nothing but Liars and theives...I worked for them for one year and had enough of their bogus lies. The entire family and their ethics where questionable which caused me to leave the company. Both boys, Greg and Mark, learned their deceitfulness from their father Chuck. I suspect they continue to use their unprofessional ways by preying on unsuspecting customers. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of their companies. It saddens my heart to know these individuals are still upto their dishonest ways. NOTE - The Lord reins and what comes around...goes around. Additionally, negative entries are one sided...no, their true. Please ask any one of their ex-employees. Sad, very sad that men have conduct business like this. Apparently, they are not "real men." Regards and God Bless.
