Took out loan with OTA - thought the loan was with the school. Excited about the trading academy. 9-months later started Chemotherapy. Universal Account Servicing, LLC Over billing me

I believe this company is overcharging me. I have made all my payments on time over the past 3 years. The first 6 months I paid extra. My final payment was to be August, 2011 and I just received another bill for over 500.00. I've made 2 phone calls and no one will return my calls. I can't find an email or website for the company, just a p.o. box number which doesn't do me any good. I believed this company to be reputable but now I'm very concerned. I've paid twice the amount for the procedure I received. Please can someone help me. Sincerely Joy Dupin

I made a charge for zero percent for 12 months. I divided my balance by 11 months and set auto pay. They changed my auto pay amount so the term would extend over 12 months so they could charge me more than $500 interest at a rate of 23.99%. SHADY I belive tht the companies they provide funding for are compicit by turning their heads or by being directly involved so they can, essentialy, charge 23.99% more for the services you purchased MKA

I had been unemployed for one month, called about renting to own a home, was told I needed to get cr chk, and was transferred to uas llc, who went over budget gave me a Free account mvelopes and 4 sessions of credit counseling which I never used. I told them I had just gone back to work, did not gave the money to pay them and they were very eager to hold off on the initial fee until payday. I entered into agreement with them and thought it was to be 1 year. No one tod me 30 months at any time. I just called to find out how much longer and I still have 18 months to pay for this crap. I have bought a home now, and this was no credit to these scammed but my own doing. I am reporting you to the BBQ at this time, as I feel you take unfair advantage of people. Have a great day...scam artists

Universal Account Servicing, LLC Fraudulent Bill

I purchased an air purification device from these people last year. I was told I would be given air filters every year on an annual date. My date cam - no filters, but I received a bill with a finance (?) charge from Universal Account Servicing, LLC . I called Exquisite on 6/27/2011, the day I received my bill from them through Universal) and cancelled the order. I was told by Exquisite that this order could not be cancelled, but they would cancel all future orders. I told them I would then pay as soon as I received my filters. They advised me that I would get a tracking number from UPS for the shipment of the filter the next day. It never came, nor have my filters. I now have received a 2nd invoice from Universal with a late charge on it. There is no phone number for Universal on the invoice, or way to contact them other than a PO Box. I tried to call Exquisite to rectify this yet again and they appear to be out of business. I am not paying for nothing. this company is billing me or something I did not receive, nor will I ever receive.

I agree with many of these comments. I, too, had an account with Universal (via a vacation time share I purchased). I do NOT have a complaint with the vacation time share, but do have an issue with Universal. 1) They added charges to my purchase without my signature nor authorization. 2) They refused to send me copies of my bill unless I called them and then sometimes I received them and sometimes I did not. 3) I promised to pay them by a certain date (as I had been out of the country) and they said ok - and then when I sent my money on that day, they sent it back to me telling me my account was closed (although they were happy to leave a credit line open for me of several thousand dollars). They told my travel company they would send my account to collections with Omega back in March - and Omega has not received anything from them as of last Friday. I've always paid my bills on time - so do NOT ever sign up for a company that will send your payments via Universal. My own travel time share told me that most of their accounts had already been transferred to another company due to issues with UAS - but unfortunately mine had not.

I am in the same situation as many of these people. I see that UAS is the third party billing system for many different entities with the same results. Extremely high interest rates; little or no correspondents with consumer; border line "predatory" lending practices...

We bought a vacation club membership from Smokey Mountain Getaways in Pigeon Forge TN that turned out to be a scam. These people keep calling us and billing us but we did not get what we signed up for and Smokey Mountain Getaways won't refund our money that we have already given them. From the looks of it this company likes to work with scam companies.

Universal Account Servicing was the third party billing system for The Right One, a matchmaking service. That service went out of business in September. Since that time, I have been told several times that Great Expectations was responsible for taking over my account. However, upon further investigation I discovered that this is not the case. As a result Universal has charged me and my partner for a service that is no longer being provided. This is called fraud! In a gesture of good will, I have been attempting to contact one of the managers to have our money refunded and the accounts closed so that it will not adversely effect our credit. Despite numerous voice mails, my complaint has still not been addressed. As a result I have no other choice but to file a complaint the FTC, the Better Business Bureau, and any other group that will help investigate these actions. In addition, I will begin steps to file a class action lawsuit if my issue is not addressed.

This people trying to charge me something that i have no idea, they just sended a balance and that it i try to contact them by phone but the mail box is full, waht we have to do is bring this people to court.

Oh I agree that they use unfair practices in dealing with their customers. They tried to block my efforts in setting up a bank draft. After I was able to get someone over there to do it, they stopped sending me statements. Whenever I call they are rude and obnoxious. This is a horrible. I got mixed up with them via Direct Buy. They are both big rip-offs!

These people are the biggest ripoffs ever. They charged .73 cents per day of interest for balance. They do not give you a statement of your account, unless you request one. When the balance is down to $500.00 they charge you .21 cents per day and when you try or do pay the balance with a credit card, they charge you $11.60 for the priviledge to do so. They...

Recieved a letter from Universal 'Account Servicing, LLC stating I owe $3, 181.03 in total, with 3 months back pay for 324.88. The collection is for SUMMIT GROUP - AWH. I have never heard of this company and on disability pay I can't afford to spend $3K!
