In J.V.T.S. Garden area of Chhattarpur Extension which happens to be a unauthorized colony, there is a beeline for construction of 3/4 Floor Buildings/ Apartments by private builders. Despite several complains to local Mehrauli Police and Municipal corporation do a formality demolition by making a small hole in one of the walls. Few days later the same building is good as new with labours working even at late nights creating ruckus and noise for the residents there. All the departments are hand-in-glove with these builders. And it seems a perfect case of Builder- Police- Corporation nexus. The one who suffer are the local residents on account of debris, pollution, noise, chaos. The Road no. 2, 3, 7, 8 are especially notorious for such unabated illegal unauthorized constructions despite being demolished in MCD books. They are not just flouting the Supreme Court of India's orders, but making a sheer mockery of law and order taking umbrage in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
