Room 0519 was situated where noisy renovations were conducted. Requested a room change told was I not infomed about the renovations. No, I would not have booked. I was celebrating my 62 birthday and had cardiac surgery. Requested to speak to manager for room change. Informed Clarissa Pillay that I had surgery and my wife was not well. [Dementia] was blaise not helpful. The room telephone was not working enquired told new system and wifi problem but maintenance guy would fix it, could not fix it. So it meant I had to physically go down to reception if I required anything. This seemed acceptable by your staff. When checking out I required a porter I requested the cleaner to contact reception, she took me to the next room and allowed me to use the phone. I was able to contact reception and get a porter.The lies about wifi and new system was found out. The poor management and staff behavior is appalling. This is an hospitality industry, I was disappointed and disgusted with the shocking service of your staff. They did not ensure my stay was a pleasant and enjoyable one
