Uber Technologies review: Uber “reliable “ courier delivery service “to the door” scam.

I ordered Uber Courier service which was advertised as a “reliable” courier delivery to the door. I included a 20% tip at the time this service was ordered as I needed to have a farm grocery box delivered to someone who was sick. The driver never appeared at the main entrance of the building when he texted that he had “arrived”, refused to park at the designated area for drop offs/ pick ups which is in front of the main entrance to the building (free parking), refused to deliver to the door as was specifically ordered and remained on a different street at all times (which has no entrance to the building).
He simply held the box hostage with no intention to arrive to the front/main entrance of the building and refused to deliver to the door.
Uber customer service refused to provide any meaningful assistance (sending a coupon for 40% off a “return” courier service) and refused to refund. Should I have known this, I would have never ordered this “reliable” Uber courier service “to the door” and would have used a reliable courier and/or UPS/Fedex same-day delivery.

PS. Their customer service terminates the chat mid conversation and refuses to provide an email address/ fax number to their corporate.
