On november 19, 2015 I downloaded the uber app and established a ride cancelled that ride as a means of determining how the service worked. november 20, 2015 I then established the same ride now legitimately. it was a 7 miles ride from my mom's home to her doctor's appointment. the day before the ride was estimated to be between $11-$15. after much wranglings with the dedicated driver for the 11/20 I agreed that she should pick up my mom. note also she actually told me that she was the only driver in the area and was closest to my mom's address. my mom was able to mete her appointment and things went well. now I am being billed by uber for $61.53 this was never part of the original deal nor was this a reasonable rate to pay for a less than 20 mins ride to my mom's appointment. after much contention with uber they agreed to credit my account with $49.46 for all future rides. this was unacceptable as I feel I am being abused, over-charged and duped into paying an exorbitant charge for a rid that was never estimated to be this expensive. I am hoping for a reversal of this charge some thing more in keeping with what was originally estimated. I am fiercely reluctant to pay this bill and would like some legal advocacy to protect my interests and right. the likelihood of taking uber in the future is remote hence the credit balance of $49.46 is meaningless. what would seem reasonable to me would be for them to take $20.00 at most and keep their credit balance for this ride. note they also charged me $5.00 for the cancelled ride on 11/19 and not until I indicated to them that I actually spoke with their driver and told her what I was doing and that I would need her services for the 11/20 before uber refunded that unreasonably charged $5.00. please review the details of my case and advise me accordingly?

I have uber account, they have blocked my account without any proper reason.
I have raised an issue with id ([protected]).
They have told it is automatically blocked due to security reason, but I already provided them the id and phone number proof.
Still they are saying they are not able to re-enable the account.
They told me that you have not followed the terms and condition. there is around 5-6 pages of terms and condition, I have asked them which term and condition I have not followed.
According to me I have followed all the terms and conditions.

Even they don't have any customer service.
Every time you mail, like if you reply to the exiting mail, new person will come and send a automated mail.

Uber charged my son $490.23 for a ride that usually costs $54 at 2:30 AM on New Years morning. That is over eight times the normal rate! He did not know the fare until he arrived home. The driver was apologetic but he said he could not do anything about it. I have disputed the amount but so far no reduction has been offered.
