Melissa Blackmere sold me a very sick worm infested puppy. After taking it to my vet because he was passing bloody stools one day after bringing him home, I was concerned. No one else would know of this ordeal and the subsequent series of events that followed. I was actually sued by this loser after she did not get her money on a puppy she guaranteed to be HEALTHY! Needless to say, she lost.

Then she has the nerve to write in to this ridiculous website because she is pissed that she lost. Her kennel name is Twin Acres Shelties out of Muncie, IN. What goes around comes around sweetie. You should be careful about how much information you think you know and then making it public. You and your friend that appeared in court never had a chance to begin with. The puppy's health record spoke for itself.

Now you can see how it feels, when people make claims they can not back up. It is amazing you are still in business. Or did you think hubby's big job at GM would carry your claims to nowhere.

To whom it may concern, the said puppy was a 6 month old oversized male sheltie that was sold as a pet intended for her son. When I was told about the bloody stool, she was offered a FULL REFUND for the dog and refused it. She was sued as she stopped payment on her check for the dog. That would be stealing the dog! Then she also put whiteout on the papers from AKC to get full registration on a dog that was sold as limited and marked limited on the registration. This incident also happened like 4 years ago. Why it is being brought back up again is beyond me. The said dog had round worms, and was wormed numerous times as a younger puppy. Round worms are very common with dogs. As a breeder I am guilty of not sceening her well enough and I should have wormed him in front of her before he left. I have learned from my mistake. Unlike her I am not going to slander her name all over the web. That is childish.

I just accidentally saw this website. I purchased my sheltie in 2006 from twin acres. He was purchased for show on the west coast. He is a bluemerle twin, white factored . Though it didn't workout in show, he is the greatest and most beautiful sheltie most people say . My problem was I couldn't control his ears and he had dew claws when I flew in to pick him up. Once in California, vets refused to remove them. So he wasn't show but we tried agility. He's too much of a rascal. Now he's just my companion but what a wonderful shetland sheepdog. I think the breeder was doing her best and I thank her every day. Nan & Logan Blue in san Diego.

We bought a beautiful Sheltie from Melissa 14 years ago. She was one of the family favorites. We drove up from Atlanta, GA with our other Sheltie (for his approval) to meet her. My husband took one look at her...and fell in love! Now, 14 years later, that puppy is a healthy, happy senior who is the matriarch of our pack. We have 4 dogs (3 - Shelties 14, 9 & 5yo, and a German Shepherd 5yo) and she is the queen. Savannah Rose is such a wonderful, sweet girl and a retired Therapy Dog. I want to thank Melissa for breeding such beautiful, healthy puppies. We cherish every day she's still with us. Thank you Melissa for our Savannah Rose!
