I been usin' Turf Masters Lawn Care, Inc. for like 15 years now, and lemme tell ya, this season my lawn is overrun with weeds. I can't even remember a time when it was this bad. It's like they ain't doin' nothin' 'bout it. Ain't got no choice but to find me another lawn care company.

80% of my grass is now dead after using Turf Masters Lawn Care, Inc. to fertilize my lawn. I have contacted them several times about the terrible job they did, hoping they would fulfill their guarantee of providing satisfactory service. Unfortunately, I have not received a response from them, which shows that their reputation does not match what they claimed. Additionally, when I hired people to give me quotes for repairing my lawn with new sod, every single one of them mentioned how bad Turf Masters is as a company. They informed me that many of their current customers only sought their services because Turf Masters had caused damage. I strongly advise against hiring Turf Masters for your lawn care needs!

Turf Masters was good at first, but the last two treatments were not so great. They were supposed to treat my entire yard, but they messed up the previous treatment, so I had someone watch where they were working. They only treated the borders of the outer yard. Their treatment write-up said they would treat the whole yard, front and back, including granules. But they didn't go into my back yard at all and didn't treat the rest of the front yard. There wasn't a single granule on the ground. I had bare spots in several places, and if they had treated the whole yard, you would see the granules in those spots. I called them to ask why they didn't do the whole yard, and all they could say was that their GPS showed they were there and that I should trust their workers. Well, guess what? The worker lied, and now they want me to pay for a half-done job. That's why I had someone watch him. I disputed the charge, so now they're threatening to send it to collections. I will never do business with this company again, and I won't recommend them to anyone.

If there was a negative star rating, that's what I'd give this company. The employees are poorly trained and not good at solving problems. I wouldn't recommend them for lawn maintenance. I started using their services in May and things initially looked good. A couple of months later, I added a new service called a growth regulator. After the first application, I noticed my lawn turning brown and it continued to look burned. It looks absolutely terrible and still does. I called and canceled the service, but they came back and sprayed it again and sent me a bill for $108. They not only ruined my lawn due to technician negligence, but they also want me to pay for a service I no longer wanted. They even threatened to send it to a collection agency. It's really disappointing. If you're looking for lawn maintenance, don't use this company. There are better choices out there that actually stand behind their work, train their people properly, and have a competent management team. I couldn't respond to your message, but no, it wasn't army worms because Anthony came and checked. He said it was a "fungus" and I asked him to take care of it. About a week later, the technician came and noted that the turf didn't have a fungus and it seemed to be burned from the fertilizer. So, I still believe that this company destroyed my lawn.

Similar it seems to other complaints. I paid for a year's term of treatments. I did not like the outcome so never paid for more. Before I noticed they did additional services and I'm getting letters from collection agencies. No prior communication, nothing. I called to resolve and was told a manager would call me back.. and once again, nothing. Beware this company.

False Credit Reporting
We were approached by a Turfmasters employee who came to our door about 5 years ago. I can't remember the exact date because I haven't heard from them in years. I agreed to their services on a treatment by treatment basis. However, Turfmasters kept providing services without my permission, even after I told them that we wouldn't be spending extra money on the yard since we were renting the house. They tried to charge us, but I talked to someone briefly who said they would take care of it. Now, out of the blue, I see a negative mark on my credit report for over a hundred bucks from 5 years ago, even though it was already resolved?!?

Turf Masters Lawn Care, Inc. recently provided lawn care services to my daughter's yard without my or her consent. I was taken aback when I received a bill for this unauthorized service, which eventually led to the bill being sent to collections. Initially, I had hired Turf Masters to maintain my daughter's lawn for a year, and I promptly paid the bill once the contract ended. However, without any permission from either me or my daughter, Turf Masters decided to go ahead and service her yard. When I confronted them about this, they acknowledged their mistake, but now they expect me to foot the bill for a service that I never requested or authorized. Unfortunately, I had already relocated to Florida, so I was unable to prevent them from carrying out the service.

I wanted to get some services for my rental property in Ga. I asked about it but never actually went ahead with arranging or giving permission for any services to be done. A few months ago, I found out that I was billed for something I didn't authorize. I called to sort it out and requested to speak to a manager, but they were supposed to call me back and never did. I called three times and never got a call back. Now, I have a *** that went to collections. They said the service was done, but I never agreed to it. Nobody informed me when the job was completed. I wasn't even told the date it was supposed to happen. Now, I don't trust anyone to do anything without me being there because of this. There's no way I would have given them the go-ahead without witnessing it myself.

On 11/12, Turf Masters Lawn Care came to do a lawn service at my place. I have a ring camera, and it captured the service guy walking up to my front door and hanging a tag. A few minutes later, I removed the tag and went to his truck. I asked him if he had completed the service, and he confirmed that he had. I informed him that I had a contract and requested that he not charge me the $56 amount he had written on the tag. He called his boss to verify, and they agreed that I was right.

Today, on 11/19, I had my daughter check the ring recording, and it revealed that he only walked up and hung the tag. The recording then showed me going out to talk to him. It turns out that he never actually performed the service! He only left his truck to hang the tag on my front door. He didn't even step out of his truck before hanging the tag!

I had a really bad experience with Turf Masters Lawn Care, Inc. We paid in advance for a whole year of service, but instead of improving our yard, it became infested with weeds. We tried reaching out to them multiple times and even sent them pictures, but nothing changed. When our prepaid time was up, they had the audacity to send us a bill for renewal. I called them to let them know we wouldn't be renewing because they failed to make our lawn better. But guess what? They sent us a bill for $55 for a service we never agreed to! I spoke to the manager and the owner, explaining that we never authorized this service, but they didn't care. They kept sending us bills and even sent us to a collection agency. I called them again, and they promised a manager would call back, but surprise, surprise, no response. I'm so frustrated that I'm going to file a complaint with the state.

They sent me to collections for $119, even though I clearly called and asked them to hold off on their service because I was looking at other companies. I have proof of this call as it was recorded. I specifically requested that they not come to my home for service because they had missed a previous appointment. My neighbor and I were supposed to be on the same schedule, but they didn't stick to it. They skipped a couple of months and then suddenly resumed their service without my consent. I called them to express my frustration and asked why they had taken it upon themselves to come and spray. I spoke to multiple people, but then an arrogant individual joined the conversation. I explained to him that I shouldn't have to pay the $119 because I had called and it was documented. Now, I've discovered that I have a negative mark on my credit for $119, which has been sent to collections. I informed the man that ever since they acquired Dorsey (a family business), their service has significantly declined.

In February , I hired Turf Masters Lawn Care, Inc. to take care of my lawn by fertilizing it and getting rid of weeds. I paid $750.00 for this service. The issue is that they really messed up my St. Augustine back lawn in August. I sent them some pictures and let them know right away. They did admit their mistake and sent someone over to check it out. The technician said he would keep an eye on it. As time went on, my turf got worse and as Fall came closer, I told Greg (the manager) about my worries. He came to see for himself and told me that my grass was going dormant and there wasn't anything that could be done until Spring. He assured me that they would fix my lawn in the Spring. Well, it's Spring now and my lawn doesn't show much improvement. There are only bare spots with some struggling blades here and there. I don't feel confident that they will replace my lawn even though they admitted the damage.

On or about 9/13, Chris *** sold me a lawn service care plan. I told him that I had recently installed a tall fescue lawn back in mid 09/20. Mr. Head was really impressed by my thick, green lawn, especially considering it was in a fully sunny area for fescue. He said that his company, Turf Masters, could help treat any fungus problems and improve the overall maintenance of my lawn, just like the pictures on the door hanger promotional literature they left with me. I agreed to authorize future services, starting with a fungus treatment. On 9/21, technician Justin informed us that we didn't have a fungus problem, but we did have an insect problem, which couldn't be treated at that time. He returned on 09/27 and treated for both fungus and insects using two different chemicals. I spoke to Cole because I was worried about whether or not I actually had a fungus problem. On 8/4, I called to let them know that they had killed my lawn.

Our lawn has gotten worse over the past year. The technician never mentioned any problems. The treatments didn't help. We called and asked for someone to come and look. They said moles tunneled under and killed the roots while looking for grubs. They said the quickest solution is to tear up that part of our lawn and put down new soil and sod. We called to speak to a manager to find out why no one mentioned the problem or reported any issues. They sent a field manager who was rude and condescending. We were treated poorly even though we were loyal customers for years. We want a refund since we have to replace part of our lawn because Turf Masters didn't do their job. I have photos and videos of everything. I've never experienced such disrespect or lack of service.

We paid for a whole year of service from Turf Masters Lawn Care, Inc. But after that, we didn't want any more treatments. However, Turf Masters still came to take care of our lawn. We bought a full year's worth of Lawn Maintenance from Turf Masters and clearly stated that we didn't want any additional services after that time period. But when the time was up for what we paid for, Turf Masters showed up to treat our lawn without our permission. I called the branch right away, and they claimed they never received any notice and that they would keep providing treatments. I explained that we only wanted what we paid for and nothing more. They threatened to send us to collections if we didn't pay for the services they rendered. I told them that we never authorized those services in the first place. They are doing work that we didn't allow, trespassing on our property, and sending us a bill for something we didn't ask for.

We been customers of Turf Masters of Roswell for a couple of years, using their lawn care services (weed control, fertilization). When it got warmer this year, most of our yard was full of weeds. I called Turf Masters customer service and talked to a manager, and they sent someone to check out the yard. After they checked it, I talked to the manager and he said that Turf Masters hadn't been doing the treatments like they were supposed to for a few months. He said they would do two treatments for free to take care of the weeds. After the second treatment, we got a bill that didn't match up with the free weed treatments. I called Turf Masters customer service and they said the bill was a mistake and they would fix it. After a couple of weeks, I started getting text messages about the same bill. I called Turf Masters customer service again, and they said the bill was a mistake and they would fix it. I also asked them to cancel our service and send me written confirmation of the cancellation and the billing mistake. The customer service person said they would do it, but we never got anything. Today (Aug-22nd), we got a notice from a collection agency for the bill that Turf Masters said was a mistake two times before. Unfortunately, this was the second or third time I had to contact them about wrong bills to get our account fixed. In short, Turf Masters didn't do the treatments like they were supposed to, they made a lot of billing mistakes, and they sent us to a collection agency for a bill they admitted was a mistake.
