During the last couple of days in September to the second week of October 2025 I had two people stay at my house to care for 2 dogs. Upon my return I did not find the house in the manner that it was left which was asked of them. It did not appear that they cleaned up after themselves, leaving medication, cigarettes butts, and candy wrappers on the floor. They were given use of a golf cart but both seat belts were broken, and the gas tank was left empty. They experienced some issues with the golf cart which cost me over $500 after the cart had the annual check-up 2 months earlier. Since they stated they had certificates in dog training they were asked to help the 9-month-old puppy learn some basic commands, instead the dog urinated on the living room rug and master bed. They said she has anxiety issues and may have a urinary infection or diabetes. She has not had either problem since their sit. I should have been more specific and said help yourselves to the perishable items in the refrigerator since they left fridge and freezer almost bare. Many items were taken and eaten from the kitchen pantry. They were shown the first aid kit, yet the bathroom cabinet was rummaged through and things taken out of packages and just thrown onto the floor of the cabinet. I have photos on my phone but am unable to download them to this laptop.
Desired outcome: I hope they are no longer invited to be pet sitters on your site. Their care of your members house and property is bringing down the reputation of your organization. Please offer a response.
