I agree with kmiles. People need to be diligent when it comes to e-mails. Grammar is a big one that is a dead giveaway as most of these job offerings and other scam emails come from outside the US and I guess these people never learned proper english or the translator software doesnt pick up on the stuff correctly. Mass e-mail accounts like hotmail and gmail should also give you a warning flag as legitimate businesses will have business e-mail accounts.

I tweeted with the staff at CareerBuilders.com and they said it didn't match any of their clients. They are the only job board I'm signed up with so I'm thinking someone hacked their system?

I had to do it. I can't consciously not report something like this.

I too just received the same email, so I wanted to look it up to see what the company was about and the first thing I saw was the Scam Alert. Wow, just when I thought I was qualified for a new position without they even knowing that I do all of the job descriptions. OMG, this is really sad, when people are looking for jobs. What else can be done about this alert? People need to be told. Maybe Face book! I am going to alert all of my friend, I hope that you all do the same. Pass it along!
Thanks, Jojo

Thanks for the continued postings regarding the Scam Alert. I too received the same email this morning from Trend House Company. Is there something more that can be done to prevent this email from circulating? It’s tough enough searching for jobs, to have to encounter these Scams along the way is just adding insult to injury.

Has anyone applied to Trend House company and actually discovered that it is bogus. I myself am leery. So when I see so many people sending in complaints I did not respond to job. If anyone has personal details of scam I would like to hear your story.
Thanks,
Joe

I just received this e-mail about an hour ago. Right from the beginning I knew it wasn't a real job opportunity because of the way the e-mail started. "Hey". Totally unprofessional. There are grammatical errors all throughout this e-mail, which was also another red flag. Whenever an e-mail like this posts the salary in USD, I already know this is an overseas "company" because what company that's based in the US uses the term USD if the people they're recruiting are from the US. USD is an overseas term. The last strike was when I googled this company and found nothing but SCAM COMPLAINTS! I know there are some eager beavers out there that will fall for this, its inevitable... but I hope for their sake that they actually take the time and read between the lines!

Just received this one too. Anything that shows up in mail, I check out on line first.
The email address is a hot mail account, dead give away.

I just received the same e-mail from them. I did not understand how my resume on Career Builders matched this job. I had no idea what kind of business this was so I went to Google. I am so glad I did. Hopefully nobody will fall for this scam!

Thank you all for getting the word out. I'm pretty sure we can put a lot of scammers and hackers out of business by putting them on blast like this.

I just received this same email. I thought to myself "to good to be true" due to the simple fact I have zero experience in this field. So I hoped online to see what the deal was with this unknown company. Glad to find others are getting the word out when people like this are taking advantage of the downed economy and peoples desperation.
