I bought a ticket from JFK to LHR in Dec 2020 for travel of 1/1/21 and requested a change in date to 1/7/21. I paid the change fee and fare difference ($125 in addition) through the payment link and the change was not effected. I was not notified and after chasing them the said a number of excuses which resulted in an e-ticket not being issued and I was unable to travel.
Fast forward and I am trying to get a refund and Budgetair say they cannot as the airline has a cancellation policy and keep referring me to get authorisation from the airline who in turn cannot give any authorisation of any sort of refund as this is a third party transaction. Budgetair keep batting me back and forth with no remorse or opportunity too escalate to a manager. I am in this position because they could not do their jobs and now I am still awaiting a refund of $602. In late August I finally managed to get a back the change fee and fare difference of $125 but the $602 was not refunded
They are not even trying to offer credit in place of a full refund and now after tossing me about and taking me on a wild goose chase, and are telling me to make changes to my ticket before 23rd Dec 2021 - which makes it a year I purchased the ticket.
I am requesting the refund of $602. I can attach docs but the upload doesnt allow pdfs
Desired outcome: Refund $602
This company is a scammer. I book the flight depart from BudgeAir.com. Their system ask me to finished the payment which I did. Later, It shown problem of booking, and ask me to re-enter the depart schedule, I noticed the time for departure have one hour difference. I accept the time schedule. However, when I received the etickets. It automatically change the return date which the system didn't ask me to make chage. I believe that is your system design problem or they did it on purpose to charge more fees. However, I already told them that I am cancel the booking and I refuse to pay the fees , but they are not response my case. This company is scammer which use lowest price at Google flight search, and charging customer additional fees for changing and canceling schedule.
